I awoke to find
that I'd become
an isolated
appendage to a machine
Cost-efficiency took over my mind
Social relations became electrons
with conscious intent
(not always recognised as such)
and frequently
real humans became
mere objects
And me
my mind
populated by abstractions
without sensuous content
Alien world?
New beginnings?
Collapse?
