Wobbly times number 121

Charlie and Dizzy's Night Out in Tunisia...

Embracing you
with skittish
skidding
saxaphone tones
felt depth
as Miles blows emotionally
sympathetic
muted horn
into our ears
"Don't Blame Me"
Up and down
tonal ladders
of impossible emotion
we travel
my old flame and I
sure sense of each other
darting tongues
in and out
silky smooth ride
to ecstasy
Wine and
intoxicating
illegal smoke
Daring to be
free
Out of nowhere
love comes
like a bird of paradise
Oh Bird
Soar as you will
Breakfast on scrapple
from the Apple
Have your fill

  1. I love the poem. It effectively uses imagery to depict love. The poet employs simple words to delve into the highly thoughtful and emotional subject matter. I couldn't help reading it over and over.
